THIS 6 MONTH ONLINE JOURNEY IS FOR ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN ENHANCING INTUITION, STRENGTHENING COURAGE, CELEBRATING WHOLENESS IN DIVERSITY, WIDENING PERSPECTIVE, DEVELOPING DEEPER RELATIONSHIPS, PRACTICING THE ART OF HOLDING SAFE SPACE FOR EXPRESSION, AND RAISING ENERGY TOWARD THEIR OWN EMPOWERMENT, HEALING, JOY AND CONFIDENCE.

FOR MY PORTION OF THE WORKSHOP I WILL BE OFFERING THE FOLLOWING:

She Who Carries Light:  Moonbeams In Our Mouths, Stardust Pouring Out

Let it be known that we are luminous, reflective divine beings who pledge allegiance to the cycles of the Moon.  We acknowledge Her as a symbol of the Goddess within, our receptive, intuitive selves, who walk the Beauty Way in curiosity and wonder.  The Moon, our inner Mother, the tender loving empire of nourishing protection, rocks us, cradles us up where spirit meets bone.  We are embraced by the Moon, tethered to Her Majesty, bathed in Her lightness of being, ever spiraling, circling, consistent and persistent.  She supports us holding it all: moonbeams in our mouths, stardust pouring out *.

Since everything is possible, let’s Make-to-Mend some Moon Magic!  I would like for us to accomplish three sacred tool tasks while we have time together.  Let’s create an Accessory-as-Medicine piece, namely a handheld crescent or full moon rawhide rattle so we have that sacred ritual tool for our own personal ceremonial use.  Let’s also create an herbal magic potion, an elixir of Moon love that can help us draw down the Moon, into ourselves, when we are feeling untethered or anxious.  And lastly, let’s sing to Her together.  I want to share with you some songs I have long sung in service to the Moon and Goddess.  When you vibrate with song and music, you shine.  And singing is a self-loving way to connect, replenish and calm yourself when needed.  After all, we have moonbeams in our mouths and stardust is pouring out.  We walk the Beauty Way and we carry Light.  So mote it be.

I Forage ~ You Gather Boxes

"I don't know what you are going to do," said Pippi, "but I know I can't lie around and be lazy. I am a Thing-finder, and when you're a Thing-finder you don't have a minute to spare."  "What did you say you are?" asked Annika.  "A Thing-finder."  "What's that?" asked Tommy.  "Someone who hunts for things, naturally. What else could it be?" said Pippi.  "The whole world is full of things and somebody has to look for them. And that's just what a Thing-finder does," she finished.  "What kind of things?" asked Annika.  "Oh, all kinds," said Pippi. "Lumps of gold, ostrich feathers, dead rats, candy snapcrackers, and tiny little screws, and things like that." -from Pippi Longstocking, Astrid Lindgreen

Anytime I receive something in the mail, that isn’t a bill or some solicitation ... a big smile comes across my face together with that feeling of anticipation ... “What is in the box, this package addressed to me?!” I can hardly wait to tear into it, yet I want to savor the moment!! When I received your package, I immediately felt special ... like a kid on Christmas morning!! I had to tell myself to take my time as I opened up the box to see little bundles of goodness wrapped beautifully and gently in colored tissue paper. As I carefully opened each little treasure, I was overcome with waves of gratitude washing over me, waves of love and such a feeling of care and tenderness for what was placed in this package. I knew each piece of goodness was wrapped up in love and in “you are enough-ness”, and with the words “YOU. ARE. SPECIAL. AND. WORTHY.” Every time I think back on when I opened that package it makes me smile. It fills me up with love and with gratitude. My cup runneth over.                   ~Kolleen Harrison

WE ARE THRILLED AND WE HOPE YOU WILL JOIN US!    "We will discover the nature of our particular genius when we stop trying to conform to our own and other people's models, learn to be ourselves and allow our natural channel to open." —Shakti Gawain During our weekend together, we'll mindfully explore personal expression; focusing on the possibilities and techniques inherent in collage, painting, and the combination of these mediums to create personal mixed media artwork. Together we'll collectively embark on a creative and soulful voyage to discover and Uncover more of our hidden and authentic genius as we create a sacred space where we're free to explore method and madness with gratitude and joy. Individually we’ll practice being aware of the connection between our body, mind, and emotions as we explore the creative process in an authentic and meaningful way.  As a group field, we'll hold the intention of being a conduit for creative flow, allowing us individually to more easily access it. I will demonstrate a variety of mixed--‐media techniques that we can playfully explore while experiencing our expanding creativity.  You’ll have the opportunity to work on substrates of your choice, creating several pieces over the course of our time together.  Think of these works as ‘studies’ in self--‐ expression, which May end up as finished artwork, or beginnings of other art projects.  What you take home with you is completely up to you, as you’ll decide what it is you want to focus on during our time together. Katie Kendrick lives along the banks of the Tahuya River inwestern Washington, surrounded by the Tahuya State Forest. The peaceful beauty of the nature that surrounds her is a constant source of inspiration and nourishment for her creative spirit. She finds painting to be one of the most powerful ways to connect with her innermost Essence, while at the same time discovering her authentic voice.
